Often times I find myself stuck in a wave of boredom where nothing excites me and I don't find anything inspiring. When it happens, I stop focusing on work and I try to live more in the moment of each day. That could mean going for a walk/run in the park. Working out at the gym. Taking a yoga class, or just hanging out with my girls and living through their laughter. Sometimes I need visual stimulation so I'll head to an art gallery, or people watch, or visit a part of the city I don't often see. The great thing about living in New York is that change is always happening. If you stay away from any particular neighborhood for too long, when you finally return some things are unrecognizable. Its just a constant reminder for me to keep moving, no matter how discouraged I may get. I have to keep moving forward. No matter what. Life must go on.
